Limiting beliefs hinder you in your role as a leader in, for example, your ministry, your business or Church. Ruth van Mierlo, the founder of the Joyful Life Network, is an accredited trainer with the Igniting Hope Academy of Steve and Wendy Backlund.<\/p>\n

Ruth is an enthusiastic encourager, inspirer and teacher. Her great desire is for people to come to know God\u2019s joy and to be able to achieve their destiny.<\/p>\n

Ruth: \u2018After studying commercial economics, for ten years I worked in various marketing positions in The Netherlands and France. For years, I thought, Is this what I\u2019m living for? Does God not have a better plan for me? <\/em>My CV looked great. But I felt empty and unfulfilled. And always that nagging little voice: \u201cAm I doing well enough?\u201d I suffered burnout and then completely changed course. When Ben and I had had two children, we moved as a family to the United States. For three years we followed a theological course and gained practical experience.<\/p>\n

How wonderful that was! I experienced great personal breakthroughs by coming to know God\u2019s Word better and applying it to my own situation. Because I was experiencing God\u2019s love and grace so personally and powerfully, I had the desire to pass on what I\u2019d learned myself.<\/p>\n

I derive joy from training and encouraging leaders and enjoy powerfully affirming them in their potential and equipping them for higher levels of leadership.
